Introduction
"Atagawa Tropical & Alligator Garden" is the "tropical animal land" which boasts the world's largest display of alligators.
The garden is divided into 3 parts, an alligator garden, a botanical garden and an orchard, and you can enjoy all of them all day long.
We breed not only alligators but also rare animals such as the "West Ailurus Fulgens" which is the only display in Japan and "Amazon Manatee" which is a mermaid from Amazon.
There are also many tropical plants are displayed, and among them, more than 60 kinds of tropical water lilies which are always in bloom are one of the great attractions.
You can also enjoy juicy fruits such as bananas, papaya and guava grown in the facility. (Limited quantity, additional fee is charged.)
The "Original Banana Soft Cream" is one of our most popular menus.
It is conveniently located as it is just a 1-minute walk from "Izu-Atagawa Station", so it is a sightseeing spot which you may want to visit when you travel to Izu.
