Introduction
The Nasu Stained Glass Museum is built based on the motif of a noble house, Manor House, in the Cotswolds region of England. As you step into the grounds adorned with an English garden, you will be enveloped in an atmosphere that makes you forget you are in Japan, and time flows gently.
The museum, made of honey-colored yellow stone called limestone, showcases antique stained glass mainly from the 1800s. In the largest chapel called the "St. Raphael Chapel," stained glass adorns the entire wall, captivating visitors with its overwhelming beauty.
Inside the museum, you can enjoy live performances of the antique pipe organ, once used in British churches, every day. Its historically rich tones will whisk away your daily fatigue. Immerse yourself in the gentle light of stained glass, the melodies of the pipe organ and music boxes, the aroma wafting through the museum, and the soothing breeze of Nasu.
